The radio code is not in the manual, I guess you were referring to synchronising windows etc. You can get the code from your dealer, usually for free, not always. A C280 can be anything from a W202, W203 or W204 models, I'd suggest asking from the relevant section of the forum where the rear brake light issue should be known, it may be the bulb
